Hey guys! Well... I have decided to setup at the Tupelo Flea Market next weekend, November 25-27!! I will be in Building 3 for sure, but the exact location isn't known yet. I should know at least by next week! I will definitely keep everyone informed!
I will have ALL Christmas items, and lots more including women's items!! I will have a few sales going on for "Black Friday" weekend... (for these three days ONLY)... And I would also like to help donate to the needy since it is THANKSGIVING... so I will offer a discount to those who donate canned goods! The sales are listed below (these will be displayed at the booth as well):
1. Buy 2 items, receive 10% off!
2. Buy 3+ or more items, and receive 15% off!
3. AND bring in a canned or nonparishable food item, and receive 10% off of any one item or an EXTRA 5% off 2+ items! (One food item will suffice, but if you have more, feel free to bring as many as you want! Please note that more food items does not = a larger discount.)
I will not be monogramming at the flea market, BUT if you are in the North Mississippi area, and can pick-up later, you may pay for your item that weekend, and I will monogram it the following week for you to pick up as soon as it is ready.
I will be offering a ship option! So if you need to send a gift to your daughter for her baby boy for Christmas, you may pay for your item there, and I will ship the following week. ALSO, you may purchase an item, pay for it, have it monogrammed AND shipped if needed! ALL options will be available! *Shipping will be a flat rate of $5.00 (this will need to paid in full at time of purchase).
I will have gift wrapping available as well! (Gift wrapping will be free.)
**I will only be accepting CASH & in-state checks!!
I hope you all will come out to see us next weekend!! We would love to have you stop by!
Thanks :)

P.S.
Just to let everyone know that isn't familiar with Sweet Peace, I sell online through a website and through the social network Facebook. I am only setup to pay with PayPal at the moment (for most customers), but hope to change that soon! Of course, there is a checkout page on the website, but if you wish to purchase on Facebook, either e-mail me, text or call, or you may simply comment "SOLD" under the photo of the item you desire, along with size and e-mail address. From then, I will contact you to see how you wish to pay. With PayPal, being the main way to pay, I do accept cash and checks upon delivery if you are around the Booneville, MS area. All of my contact information is listed below. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate!

New!
Hey guys! Just a reminder to check out our Christmas attire on Facebook, www.facebook.com/spb2011!! Also, new items will be added to http://www.sweetpeaceboutique.com/ this week. Because the opening date of the store has been pushed back, I will be posting LOTS of NEW items on these two sites from now until Christmas! I will also keep everyone updated on the flea market "gigs". I am looking at Black Friday weekend (I know, bless me, lol ;) And the December weekend. And since spots are based on seniority, I will probably not be in building 1, where I SO wish I could be. BUT beggars can't be choosers! But I will let everyone know more concrete plans asap! Also, I have women's attire that I may be posting as well. Let me know if you guys would like to see anything!
As for life outside of "work", I am NOT loving this weather. I have actually been running the AC for the past couple of days for a couple hours a day to cool off the house... in NOVEMBER! :( Don't get me wrong, I love the summer and fall and spring, but I am ready for cold weather. Or just for it to stick to one or the other! But on the upside, I like opening the windows for fresh air! I think that's my only rant for the day :)
Have a great week everyone!! :)
Will 'talk' soon!

Learning Patience.
Hey guys! So I thought I would start a blog to help keep everyone informed of what is going on with the store, business, etc. more in detail AND for personal satisfaction :)
As most of you know, I have a business called Sweet Peace, which is primarily a children's boutique, but is "broadening its horizons" with lots of other items. I have been operating online (http://www.sweetpeaceboutique.com/; www.facebook.com/spb2011) going on nine months. A few months ago, I decided (with the help of a few dedicated friends) to go "brick & mortar", which is awesome, BUT I have had to learn a LOT of patience with this transition. I had my eye on a couple of particular buildings for a long time, not just for this business, but if I ever had any sort of business, I thought those buildings would work out great. They have a great look and feel to them, and they smile at me everytime I drive by :) So I decided to ask around about who owned these fabulous buildings. Long story, short, I FINALLY had the opportunity to rent the smaller building, which is at 116 West College Street, two down from Cox-Blythe drugstore for those of you who are from "the Vegas" (Booneville). I have been so excited to move all of the inventory into an actual building to create a real-live store for people to come in and shop! But of course, you always run into problems/issues when you are depending on a million different people to get something done. So this is where we are now:
The electricians, sheet rock people, plumbing guys, painters, other construction workers, and anyone else helping on this project have lots of other jobs lined up along with getting everything done for my building. Opening date was going to, hopefully, be before Christmas, but with all of the complications of working around everyone's schedule, we are now shooting for opening February. Sad and very frustrating for me! I was told that it IS possible that the front of the store (the part where the actual store part will be) may be ready in time to setup for Christmas. SO, fingers crossed, people!!! :) I do apologize for the delay!
All of this stress, discouragement, and wondering has really made me second guess my decisions. I know this is something I want to do and will really enjoy and have really loved, but on the oher hand, I, sometimes, feel like I need to get out and explore options. I've never lived anywhere, but Booneville, besides Starkville, which doesn't really count--HOTTY TODDY :) And I've always had a thing to see what it was like to live in a big city, or at least the outskirts of one. So I've been talking myself into continuing with the decision I've made. I just hope it's the right one, and I know that in time, I will know 250%! I trust that God will lead me to where I need to be no matter what.
On a brighter note, I have considered setting up a booth at the Tupelo Flea Market, this month (the Christmas weekend) and next month in December. I am currently looking into this idea, and will definitely keep everyone posted!
As for now, I will take several deep breaths, count to 10 or 100, and think positive! Please stay tuned for more detailed information about the store/business and any venting I may need to do to keep sane!
